 Welcome to the page for Electronic Submission to Signal Processing Letters! Here you can submit your beautifully e-published document.

See Author Info for the tools that take advantage of the offerings of the web and information on how to use them. This includes ieee.cls and the packages color and hyperref for LaTeX.

§ CONFIDENTIALITY §
The directories that hold your article, files and reviews will be password protected. Only you, the editors and the reviewers will have the password.

This is an experiment! It would be greatly appreciated if you would send us an email about any problems or questions you have... problems with the process, problems with the information we provide, or questions about the meaning of life (Laura can answer those). Also, any comments and suggestions are welcomed. We would love to hear from you!

Submission consists of three steps.

The Submission Process

 Click on each link to view the step. Please look everything over before you begin.
Don't worry (be happy)-- if you forget something, at the end of step 1 (submitting your information form) you will see directions for step 2 again.
1. Fill out the form below with information on your paper.
When you submit this form, a directory will be set up for your paper.
2. ftp your article to us at spib.ece.rice.edu. Please tar and zip all the related files into one file.
We will put your article in its directory, password protect this directory, and send you email with the username and password. The password will only be given out to you, the editor and the reviewers.

This is so that we know which files in our ftp directory belong to you and your paper. We prefer that it is just one tarred and zipped file.

Submitting your article
  1. tar and zip your files together.
  2. anonymous ftp to spib.ece.rice.edu
  3. change directory to "incoming."
  4. be sure you are in binary or image mode (type "binary" and hit enter)
  5. Put your tarred and zipped files here (in the directory "incoming") and wait for mail from us!
